In line with this vision, GreenLamp is dedicated to providing solar technology, to delivery rooms in rural Ethiopia where energy is scarce. This initiative goes beyond supplying reliable light and power – it enhances maternal healthcare by ensuring safer conditions for childbirth and improved healthcare outcomes.

💚  Over 300 solar systems have been installed and are being maintained to provide surgical-quality lighting, power for emergency referrals, and solar fridges for storing vital medicines and vaccines.

💚   The presence of solar systems encourages women to seek healthcare, leading to less traumatic birth injuries and preventable deaths.

💚  Working closely with partners like Hamlin Fistula UK, We Care Solar and STIFTUNG SOLARENERGIE-SOLAR ENERGY FOUNDATION ETHIOPIA, we have reached over 1 million women of reproductive age, making a profound impact on maternal health
